Trace Construction Group delivered a full new-build project for Cibus Café, a modern restaurant and coffee venue located in the heart of London’s financial district (EC3M). Working in one of the busiest and most logistically challenging areas of the city, our team managed every aspect of the build from initial planning and structural works to final interior detailing. Scope of Works
This project involved a complete fit-out from shell and core, including structural framing, service installations, mechanical and electrical systems, and full interior finishes. Given the café’s central location, meticulous coordination was required to manage deliveries, access, and scheduling without disrupting the surrounding businesses. Design and Interiors
The interior concept embraces a warm, modern palette featuring clean lines, timber accents, and soft lighting to create a calm yet vibrant dining space. Efficiency and flow were central to the design. Service counters and back-of-house zones were planned to optimise movement for staff, while maintaining clear visibility and comfort for guests.
